Presentation

I am associate professor of Romance Philology at the Department of Classical and Italian Philology of the University of Bologna. I teach in the Master's Degree courses in Languages ​​and Humanities and in the International Master GEMMA - (Women's and Gender Study). Coordinated by Alma Gender IRT of the University of Bologna. I study medieval Romance literatures (ancien français, moyen français, mediospagnolo and Italian) from a comparative, interdisciplinary and gender study perspective, in particular: short forms; Boccaccio and France; the representations of knowledge, of the body and of violence in medieval Romance literature (XII-XV century); Marie de France; Christine de Pizan; the querelle des femmes from a European perspective.
