Presentation

María-Isabel García-Pérez, graduated in English Studies and Italian Studies from the University of Salamanca, is currently doing her PhD on the presence of organized crime in Italian literature and cinema. Her lines of research include literature written by women and gender studies, the Italian crime novel and film adaptation studies. She is currently an associate professor in the Italian Area of ​​the Faculty of Philology at the University of Salamanca and is part of the Research Group "Writers and female characters in literature" (EPERFLIT).
