Associate Professor of the Italian Philology Area at the University of Salamanca, she has a degree in Italian Philology from the University of Salamanca. She received his doctorate in Philology in 1993 with a Thesis on Italian Neo-avant-garde Poetry. She is a member of the Research Group of the University of Salamanca "Writers and female characters in literature" since its creation. Her main lines of research include literature written by women, the Italian black and criminal genre, Italian literature written outside its borders and the reception of Italian literature, its translation and its influence in Spain.
