D. in Philology from the University of Cadiz with Extraordinary Prize (2010), he belongs to the Area of Romance Philology of the Department of Philology and the University Institute for Research in Hispanic World Studies of the University of Cadiz. He has focused his most recent research on several medieval lyrical traditions studying them from different points of view that incorporate the gender perspective.
