Cristoforo Bronzini nella querelle des Femmes (reading planned for May 2024)

Aurora Gaia Di Cosmo is a PhD student in Estudios Filológicos at the University of Seville and is part of the research group Escritoras y Escrituras; is a subject expert in Philology of Italian Literature and in Methodology of literary criticism at the Department of Humanities Studies of the University of Foggia. His doctoral thesis focuses on the philological and critical analysis of the treatise by Cristoforo Bronzini, Della Dignità e Nobiltà delle donne; the main objective is to realize a commented edition of the first print of the work, dated 1622, paying attention also to the authorial variants present in the 1624 edition, after censorship by the Congregation of the Index.
